What Am I Currently Reading?

Hello ladies,

Thought I'd share a little about the book I'm currently reading.  This book is called An Accidental Women by Barbara Delinsky.

The book is about a woman who is a suspect of a murder in another State.  They are trying to prove her identity but she has always kept her past a secret and refuses to speak of it even if it means being accused of murder.  The people who have trusted her most are beginning to wonder if she really is the woman they have known for the past four years.

Well, back to my book.

Have a great day!

New Book Bag

Hi everyone,

I wanted a little bag to carry my current book read and finally came across this little cute one at Big Lots.
The beauty of it is that my Samsung tablet fits right in with any book.  Now I can take my book and my tablet with me wherever I go.

DIY Hobonichi Cover

Hello everyone,

Just wanted to share the pretty cover I made for my DIY Hobonichi cover.  Although I do want the book to maintain its flexibility, I plan to make another one soon with some batting to give it a little more stability.
Have a great day!

The Heretic's Daughter - Book Review

Hello Chickadees,

I just finished the book The Heretic's Daughter.  It is a very good book.  It's based on a true story about the Salem witch trials.  It is slow moving at times with a lot of story detail.   The book is 500 pages long which I usually don't read, but the type is large so it's easy on the eyes. I would recommend this book.
Happy reading!

I'm Back!

Hello Blogger Friends,

I have missed you all.  After a respite I am re-energized and ready to move on with my blog.  If you are like me I am welcoming the warmer weather with open arms and I hope you all have wonderful plans for the summer.  After the winter we just had I think we are due some great weather.

I was recently on YouTube and discovered a journaling style called Hobonichi.   It is basically a daily life journal.  It's really not an "emotional" journal in the sense that you share your intimate emotions, but a journal where you log your daily life with a few words and simple sketches.  You can color your sketches and use stickers and/or Washi tape.

I have been doing it for two weeks now and I can not say how much I enjoy my time recapping my day with cute little pictures, clip art, decorative stickers and tape.

I have posted some pics of my first few pages for you. Enjoy!

Hugs,
Abby
