New Look For 2011

Hello chickies,

I've recently re-vamped my art studio and decided to re-vamp my blog as well. There will be art journaling pics, some swaps, and some give-away art. I'm hoping you can join in and hopefully we can all get a couple of art buddies out of it.

Anyway, I'm hoping to do that within this coming week so keep posted.

New Baby Parrotlet

Hi everyone!

Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays!

I've been busy making art and having lot's of fun. I'll share some pics soon.

We just adopted a new baby parrotlet. Her name is Chloe and she's 2 months young. She's simply toooooo cute and comical. I'll tell you more about her in my next blog.

Here's a pic of her. I'll be taking better pics as soon as I can. I'm working full time now, which normally includes Saturday and Sunday. I find myself juggling most of my time to complete everything I want to fit in a day.

I wanted to sell my art, but with my time limitations now I don't know if that will happen right now or later on. Anyway, here is a pic.

Busy As A Bee

Hello there chickadees,

I hope you all had a great summer....

It's been a little bit since I last posted--I've been busy, busy, busy. Aside from life and work, I've been making art--I've made some personal collages and paintings and have just been having a blast. I plan to make some new pieces and sell them on-line within the next few months. If you look at my flicker pics on this page you'll see some of my previous needle-felt work featured as cake toppers.

In a couple of days I'll post some pics of some of my personal pieces of art work.

Some Latest Creations

Hello friends,

I thought I'd show a few pics and some of my latest creations--enjoy.....

This was my first layout I did a while back with a pretty pink girl I found, while surfing the net....it has a handmade paper flower (I just adore making flowers), and vintage millinery. She has some sparkle on her hair and the bird has tons of sparkle as well...





This is a card of a little girl I drew and colored, after receiving a little inspiration from some of my favorite stamps....then embellished with sparkle and vintage flowers....she's not perfect, but I was just playing with ideas....



...and this is a large tag as a sign for the door to my "playroom". This also has a handmade paper flower as well as a handmade crochet flower and vintage glitz and millinery...



I've been art journaling, drawing, collaging, and coloring as well---too much fun all this playing.......I love it!!!
