New Baby Grandniece!

Among the many exciting things that happened this summer, God granted us a grandniece. I am now a proud grandaunt! Here she is in all her cute glory....our precious little Gracie...




Cute as a button! She is now 2 months old and the doctor says she is developing quickly for her age. She is my "mariposita" (little butterfly).....

Back To My Artwork

Hello chickees,

I have finally finished unpacking and have started working on some art projects. I can't believe I managed to fit in all my art paraphanalia in my little room--I love it--it's cozy but has plenty of room for me to store everything I need and I can move around it comfortably. Best of all thanks to my hubby, it's all mine!

Right now I'm finishing up on my version of a smash book (a.k.a. junque journal). It's been so fun! I plan to do a couple more--I think the next one will be a fabric smash book. I'll also be working on a new painting for my logo, as well as start on my new dollhouse.

I've got lots of plans for the coming months, so keep popping in to see pics of my new art projects. I appreciate your comments and would love to hear from you.

Finally Moved

Hey everyone!

We finally completed our move, and I am as we speak in the middle of unpacking and decorating. Although our new nest is much smaller than our last place we like it much better--I feel like I can wrap my arms around it and it is not so beyond me. I will be better able to manage the housekeeping and have more time for my ministry and my art work. When I am done with the decorating I'll post some pics.

My hubby is working on my computer so I can get on wireless, so I am not writing to you from my home computer. As soon as he finishes I'll write to you from my new art studio. I can hardly wait until it's all set up--right now you can imagine what a mess it is.

The Big Move

Hi everyone,

In two weeks we move to our new place! We've been living mostly out of boxes for the past three months, so I'm excited to start organizing and decorating our new little nest. Even though we are downsizing and the art studio will be smaller than the one I've had for the last decade, my hubby surprised me by saying I can have the whole room to myself! One more reason why I think I'll keep him for another decade or so (tee-hee).

After I get out from under all the boxes I'll share some pics with you. I will probably do my art studio first--or maybe the bedroom--or the dining room--hmmmmm--maybe the kitchen--where to begin, I want to do it all...............

I'm Moving

Hello chickees,

Just wanted to let everyone know I'll be moving within the next few months. I also thought I would share a peek of my art studio. I'll be moving to a smaller place so I don't know if all my artwork will fit in my new art studio(sigh! I'll miss my room). Anyhow, here's a peek at my current studio.
